Vallely Sport & Marine is Hiring an Office Manager Near Minot, ND

Come join the Vallely winning team as our Office Manager! We are ND's exclusive Boating Industry Top 100 Dealer for the past 16 years! We sell Lund, Bennington, Sea Ray, MasterCraft & Yamaha boats. We have also been a PowerSports Business Power 50 Dealer selling: Polaris & Yamaha Powersports. We have a rare opportunity for the Office Manager position due to a future retirement. We are looking for a leader with at least 2 years previous office administrative experience. Apply in person Monday-Friday 10am-6pm with resume. 

Your role is to create and maintain a pleasant work environment, ensuring high levels of organizational effectiveness, communication, key-record keeping and coordination among departments. The ideal candidate will have prior experience as office manager working in an office supporting multiple levels of employees.

Responsibilities include but not limited to:

  • Payroll, HR and bookkeeping record-keeping and coordination, new employee on-boarding and training.
  • Keeping the company's filing system in order, assisting with implementation of new administration systems.
  • Lead the way in using a variety of office equipment and software such as spreadsheets, emailing clients, and databases.
  • Plan, develop, organize, implement, evaluate and direct the facility's accounting, payroll, accounts payable, accounts receivable.
  • Establish and maintain a system of financial recordkeeping to include ledgers, recording payments, writing receipts, posting cash journals, prepare and make bank deposits, etc.
  • Establish and maintain a system of accounts payable, to include invoicing, purchase orders, pay vouchers, check register, ledgers, etc., as necessary.
  • Maintain the general ledger to include the preparation of journal entries, coding of invoices, accounts analysis and reconciliation, closing books, setting up new accounts, etc., as necessary or instructed.
