Responsibilities:
Maintain consistent and reliable performance and attendance.
Create a culture of customer service.
Communicate respectfully and collaboratively with co-workers, supervisors, managers, and customers.
Maintain current competent knowledge of relevant laws, rules and applicable policies and procedures, including but not limited to confidentiality and security.
Assist taxpayers on the phone and at the front counter by answering inquiries concerning state tax laws, rules, policies and filing requirements.
Research taxpayer accounts for status, refunds, errors, and transactions.
Assist taxpayers in registering for and navigating TAP (Taxpayer Access Point).
Assist taxpayers in obtaining permits and making timely payments.
Collect and process payments and ensure proper application to taxpayer accounts.
Reconcile cash drawers as necessary.
