PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES:

* Assess, plan, and implement care for individual patients.

* Maintain patient flow by taking them to and from exam rooms.

* Record patient data before eat visit; vitals, height, weight, allergies, medication, and reason for the visit.

* Administer subcutaneous, intramuscular injections and IV therapy.

* Assist providers with patient examinations.

* Clean/sterilize exam or procedure room and instruments.

* Schedule patient rests, procedures, hospital admission, and appointment follow-ups.

* Compile information and prepare reports.

REQUIREMENTS:

High school diploma or GED and graduate of an approved school of nursing.

EXPERIENCE:

Previous experience in a medical office or healthcare setting is desired but not required.

CERTIFICATES, LICENSES, REGISTRATIONS:

* Valid license to practice in the state of employment and current CPR certification required.

* IV Certification is desired.
