Description: As a Facility/Preventive Maintenance Lead, you will take on a leadership role, overseeing and actively participating in preventive maintenance, calibration, and repairs on assigned equipment. You will assess whether equipment is repairable or requires replacement. In addition to performing routine upkeep for facilities, you will supervise internal and external contractors for projects. Safety and process improvement projects will be part of your responsibilities. This leadership position reports directly to our Director of Operations. Minimum Qualifications High school diploma or GED equivalency. A minimum of 2 years' experience in an equipment/facility maintenance role. Knowledge of TPM and its implementation in a production environment is a plus. Proficiency in reading, writing, speaking, and understanding English. Excellent attention to detail. Exceptional manual dexterity. Basic computer skills with experience using Outlook, Excel, and CMMS systems. Strong time management and problem-solving skills are essential. Ability to sit and/or stand for extended periods, depending on the task being performed. Capability to walk and carry parts, materials, etc., between departments. Ability to lift at least 50 lbs., reach above the head, push/pull, and perform repetitive work with hands. Detail-oriented vision at close range. Requirements: Competency Requirements Lead and support a small technician base. Diagnose, repair, and perform routine maintenance on equipment and tools according to manufacturer guidelines. Ensure completion of all preventive maintenance within specified timeframes while maintaining accurate records, files, and logs. Execute lockout/tag-out procedures as needed, adhering to manufacturer guidelines. Manage the disposal of hazardous waste as defined by work instructions. Recognize, perform, and schedule maintenance needs for the interior and exterior of the building. Understand and apply procedures and work instructions for assigned areas. Comprehend and follow requirements of the quality system procedure as defined in standard operating procedures and work instructions. Adhere to all safety requirements while utilizing personal protective equipment as required for the task being performed. Safeguard and protect the confidentiality of company and patient information as defined by the company’s Confidentiality Agreement. Understand how one’s performance can impact the success of the organization and product quality.
