Job Title: Maintenance Technician

Job Description

• Support the manufacturing areas with a focus on minimizing downtime, increasing productivity, and maintaining the overall production system as well as company policies/procedures.
• Responsibilities include supporting maintenance activities on all production equipment, facilities, and utility systems to provide a reliable production platform.
• This role involves performing predictive and preventive maintenance in conjunction with production management to ensure operability of all plant production equipment and facilities.
• The technician will perform general building maintenance, oversee machines in various production areas, manage machine uptime/downtime, support continuous improvement activities, and perform other duties as assigned.

Technical Skills

• Hydraulic equipment maintenance
• PLC knowledge
• Reading industrial electrical schematics
• Understanding of servo motion
• Assembly of complex equipment
• Preventative maintenance

Work Site

This is a fully on-site position in Jackson, Tennessee.

Work Environment

Second shift hours are Monday – Friday, 3:00 PM - 11:30 PM

Third shift hours are Monday - Friday, 11:00 PM - 7:30 AM

• Shifts may require early arrivals or late stays for overtime or weekend work, typically with advance notice.
• Uniforms provided include steel toe shoes, long sleeve shirts, long pants, and optional ball caps.
• Hearing protection and safety glasses must be worn at all times on the plant floor.
• The environment is a temperature-controlled manufacturing facility
