The Department of Anesthesiology, Perioperative, and Pain Medicine, at Stanford University’s School of Medicine, is a world-leading department that offers comprehensive training and perioperative patient care, pain management, and critical care medicine as well as cutting-edge research, encompassing a wide spectrum of programs in basic, translational, clinical, health services and medical education.
The Department of Anesthesiology, Perioperative, and Pain Medicine is seeking a Clinical Research Coordinator Associate (Fixed-term 2 years) to act as the primary research recruiter for the principal investigator’s multicenter clinical trial examining the effectiveness of motivational interviewing and tizanidine in reducing long-term opioid use after spine surgery as well as reducing opioid misuse. The CRCA will work with clinicians, the principal investigator, project managers, and study coordinators to understand project enrollment needs and eligibility criteria to optimize recruitment to this study. The CRCA will recruit patients scheduled for spine surgery from the preoperative anesthesia clinic as well as utilize additional methods for recruitment.
This position provides the opportunity to collaborate with top researchers and pain specialists at Stanford. WORK STANDARDS
The expected pay range for this position is $27.88 to $36.54 per hour.
