POSITION SUMMARY:

This position is responsible for conducting bio-psycho-social assessments to determine appropriate placement levels for outpatient dual diagnosis care. The incumbent also facilitates individual and group counseling sessions to provide clients with opportunities to explore recovery issues and work toward mutually determined recovery goals.

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:

* Bachelors level degree in related field; licensure and/or D&A certification preferred.

* Minimum of 1 year clinical experience. Preferably in a D&A setting.

* Exceptional communication skills, both written and verbal, organizational skills and the ability to effectively work with a team.

* Strong clinical skills with working knowledge of mental health system, drug and alcohol system and recovery principles.

* Ability to effectively work with persons with mental illness and develop comprehensive treatment / recovery plans for their program participation.

* Act 31/33/34 Clearance and FBI Criminal Background Check.

* Valid driver's license with access to a vehicle during scheduled work hours.
