Storage Administrator Duties & Responsibilities:

Exp: 6 Years

• Responsible for the installation, configuration, and management of EMC VMAX/PowerMax /Hitachi/Netapp/HPE3Par Subsystems.
• Experienced in EMC storages VMAX, PowerMax, Unity, Hitachi VSP, HPE3Par and Object Storage
• Experienced in Brocade and Cisco SAN Switches Perform routine maintenance tasks, such as backups, restores, and performance monitoring.
• Tackle and resolve storage-related issues.
• Work with other IT staff to provision storage for new applications and servers.
• Local replication and remote replication SRDF/Snap mirror/Replication
• Hitachi True Copy and Hitachi Universal Replicator
• Design and implement EMC VMAX/PowerMax/Cloud/ Object storage solutions for customers.
• Work with customers to understand their storage needs and requirements.
• Develop storage solutions that meet the customers’ needs and budget.
• Present storage solutions to customers and answer their questions.
• Preparing, maintaining and updating of SOP and Knowledge Base, maintaining and updating of Infra Documents
• Good Knowledge of Service Now for all ITIL Management.
• Stay up to date on the latest Storage technologies and standard processes.
• Install, configure, and manage IBM Object storage systems
• Perform routine maintenance tasks like backups, restores, and performance monitoring.
• Fix and resolve storage-related issues to ensure efficient system operation.
• Work with other IT teams to provision storage for applications and servers.
• Stay informed about new IBM storage features and standard processes.

• Good Exposure in storage domain.
• Engineering degree or equivalent experience in any domain
• Rich experience in DELL EMC, Hitachi, Netapp, HPE3Par & IBM
• Expertise in Cloud Storage
• Cisco MDS and Brocade SAN Switches
