Part-Time Nursing Faculty

Faculty provide excellent instruction in nursing ensuring achievement of student outcomes and are responsible for curriculum, instruction, and excellence in the student educational experience. Faculty provide engaged instruction; develop curricula; and conduct program, course, and student outcomes assessment.

Responsibilities:

• Teach theory, lab, clinical practicum, and/or simulation as determined by workload needs.
• Develop and utilize a variety of techniques and tools to evaluate student achievement and progress based upon the course and program outcomes.
• Create an environment in the classroom and health care agency which facilitates student learning.

Qualifications:

• Academically and experientially qualified in areas of expertise.
• Doctoral degree preferred; master’s required.
• Academic teaching experience preferred.
• Current undisciplined nursing license in Kansas and Missouri (or multistate) required.
• Multilingual skills highly preferred.
