Salary Scale: $34,892 - $40,831 annually

Essential FunctionsAn employee in this classification is required to perform some or all of the following duties, however these do not include all of the tasks which the employee may be expected to perform: various transportation related tasks, (e.g. drive vehicle in a safe manner; assist persons served on/off vehicle; report any maintenance needs; maintain first aid kit; comply with Transportation Policy (09-002-0010), Alcohol & Drug Testing Policy (06-001-0010), and Background Check Policy (06-001-0015), various maintenance/custodial tasks (e.g., moving, minor repairs on homes, assembling items); and supervisor/designee directives; complete daily documentation requirements; perform other duties as required by the Program Supervisor/designee; maintain confidentiality.

Supervisory ResponsibilitiesThe position has no supervisory responsibilities, and reports to Program Supervisor and/or designee.
Minimum QualificationsTechnical Skills
  • Education:
  • High School Diploma or general educational development (GED) certificate
  • Licensure:
  • Valid Michigan Driver’s license
  • Experience/Skills:
  • A safe driving record
  • Other:
  • Must be able frequently lift and/or move up to 50 pounds
  • Minimum of one year experience related to general maintenance
