Job Details

Responsibilities:

* Performing a variety of clinical tests.

* Perform various biochemical, microscopic, blood bank and/or bacteriological tests.

* Obtain data for use in the evaluation, diagnosis and treatment of disease.

Qualifications:

* Bachelor's degree in Medical Technology or related science from an accredited school required.

* Licensed under the NYS Dept of Education as a Clinical Laboratory Technologist required.

* Knowledge of hematology, chemistry, blood bank, and/or microbiology required.

* Hospital experience desired.

* Must work weekends and holidays as scheduled.

* One year internship at an accredited hospital or one year practical experience required.

* Good oral and written communication skills essential.

Salary Range

USD $51.50 - USD $56.65 /Hr.

This range serves as a good faith estimate and actual pay will encompass a number of factors, including a candidate's qualifications, skills, competencies and experience. The salary range or rate listed does not include any bonuses/incentive, differential pay or other forms of compensation that may be applicable to this job and it does not include the value of benefits.
