Spread Your Wings Inc. is Hiring a Behavior Analyst (BCBA) Near San Jose, CA

We are currently hiring Behavior Analysts (BCBA) to join our team in the beautiful Bay Area of California! We are a fast-growing company that has recently developed our Behavioral Management Services team, and with a growing number of clients in need of services, we are looking for BCBA's to join our team. If you have a passion to help youth and adults with developmental disabilities and provide support to their families, we would love to hear from you!

Who You are:

The Behavior Analyst plans, develops and manages the behavioral management services and intervention for clients assigned to their caseload. Performance of the typical responsibilities and duties requires the ability to provide direction concerning service delivery, the ability to communicate effectively in writing and verbally, provide client-centered behavioral management services and guidance of Behavioral Management Assistants, involving job-related matters that are of moderate to unusual complexity.

Who we are:

Spread Your Wings LLC began in 2016 providing services to adults with intellectual and developmental disabilities and responsible for maintaining a safe, supportive environment which ensures the quality living of our clients. Given our experience and tenure of serving adults with intellectual and developmental disabilities, we also set forth a goal to include children and youth to the population we serve. Having that in mind, in early 2022, we were able to launch our Behavioral Management Services (ACCESS Behavioral Services) as a part of our company, and our primary duty is to provide the appropriate behavioral interventions and support tailored to the needs and desires of each individual, regardless of their age. Currently, we are primarily serving adults, but have been increasing our services to youths as well, and hope to continue to serve all age groups. We realize that typical ABA/Behavioral Service agencies may primarily focus on serving the youth population, but we hope that the right candidates are open and available to work with adults as well.

Essential Job Functions:

  • Develop and implement functional behavioral assessment and behavioral intervention plans for consumers assigned to their caseload.
  • Gather data utilizing scatter plot, ABC Data Sheet and develop graphs and summary of findings. Incorporate the information gathered into the consumer’s Behavioral Intervention Plan and continue to use the tools to continue to monitor the consumer’s progress towards the Behavioral Intervention Plan objectives.
  • Work collaboratively with Behavioral Management Assistants, regional center and its personnel, clients and client’s family/caregivers in the development and implementation of their behavioral intervention plan.
  • Provide regular updates of the client’s progress to their behavioral intervention plan objectives and make modifications to the behavioral intervention plan as needed so it continues to meet the client’s needs and preferences.
  • Provide guidance, oversight, support, and training to the Behavioral Management Assistant.
  • Apply confidentiality regulations and practices to everyday tasks.
  • Provide great customer service to clients, client's family members/caregivers, and others in all interactions.

Minimum Qualifications:

  • Licensed as a Board-Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA).
  • Have prior experience in the designing and/or implementing behavior modification/intervention services.
  • Familiar with the treatment/behavioral planning process, documentation, data-collection and evaluation of collected data.
  • Prior experience in a supervisory/leadership role, preferred.

Salary range is $42-50/hour, depending on experience.
