Our firm’s advisory department is currently seeking a self-motivated, detail-oriented individual to join our growing team. We are seeking someone who wants to participate in our firm's positive culture and is passionate about helping our advisory practice grow.

Essential Functions:

• Conducting financial analysis to uncover discrepancies, irregularities, or fraudulent activities
• Analyzing evidence to determine the extent of fraudulent activities and potential culprits
• Collaborating with legal teams to provide financial expertise in preparation for litigation
• Providing calculations and analysis to support claims for economic loss
• Assisting in resolving financial disputes through negotiation or alternative dispute resolution methods
• Presenting findings and analysis in a clear and understandable manner for legal professionals and jurors

• Strong analytical skills to examine financial data, identify patterns, and uncover discrepancies
• Ability to conduct thorough investigations, including fraud examinations, and gather relevant evidence
• Understanding of legal principles and procedures, especially in the context of litigation and dispute resolution
• Critical thinking skills to assess situations, evaluate evidence, and draw sound conclusions
• Meticulous attention to detail is crucial when reviewing financial documents and conducting forensic analysis
• Familiarity with forensic technology tools and the ability to analyze electronic data and digital records
• Ability to serve as an expert witness, including the confidence to present findings in court and respond to cross-examination
• Strong organizational and project management skills to handle multiple cases simultaneously and meet deadlines
• Ability to collaborate effectively with legal teams, law enforcement, and other professionals involved in a case

Desired Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting and/or Finance
• Certification/Degree preferred as an accounting major, CPA, MBA, ABV, CVA, CFF and/or CFE
• 5 years of experience in auditing, accounting, business valuation, report delivery, financial consulting, and/or financial modeling
• Works with confidential client matters, requires ability to keep matters confidential
• Prior experience working in a CPA firm
