Wage & Job info: $16.75-$17.50/hr, At least 30 hours per week -Day Shift This position requires that you are able to drive a company vehicle. Insurance requires the individual to be at least 25 years old with a valid driver license. The primary responsibility of the House Person is to maintain and sanitize the public areas of the hotel, respond to guest requests, and may provide guest transportation. Public areas include the hotel lobby, restrooms, gift shop, guest laundry area, employee break room, pool area, exercise room, business center, stairwells and hallways, outside entrances, and parking. This position may be responsible for transporting guests to and from the airport or other requested destinations. ESSENTIAL DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES: All duties and responsibilities of this position are to be performed with exceptional caring and genuine guest service upholding the Oxford Collection of hotels standards and culture at all times. Public Area Cleaning and Sanitizing (70%): This position performs the daily and on-going cleaning of the hotel lobby, restrooms, gift shop, guest laundry area, employee break room, pool area, exercise room, business center, stairwells and hallways, outside entrances, and parking areas ensuring that all areas are cleaned and orderly, dusted, vacuumed and that trash is removed. Outside maintenance of public areas includes picking up trash in the parking lot, cleaning ashtrays and policing the dumpster area; and maintaining the cleanliness of the Oxford Collection of hotels van. Perform all tasks in compliance with federal, state, local, food safety and sanitation requirements and Oxford Collection of hotels safety standards and security procedures. Be knowledgeable about and able to respond to emergency situations. Report any maintenance repairs needed immediately to their supervisor or General Manager. Guest Relations (20%): Extend warmth and hospitality when greeting guests at the hotel entrance, welcoming them to the hotel. Interact and acknowledge guests, provide directions and assistance. Escort guests to rooms, cart guest luggage to and from guestrooms, deliver guest supplies, flowers and packages to guestrooms. May transport guests (using company vehicle) to and from the airport and other locations. Maintain integrity, confidentiality, and sensitivity when working with both internal and external guests. Other (10%): Maintain hotel reader boards, stock gift shop /convenience store (if applicable), and assist with meeting room set up. Communicate effectively with all hotel staff to ensure smooth delivery of services. Other duties as necessary. COMPETENCIES

High School Diploma or GED preferred
Hospitality / hotel work experience preferred
Job Requirements
Proof of eligibility to work in the United States
Reliable transportation to and from work

Physical Requirements
Must be able to perform simple grasping, fine manipulation, and repetitive hand and arm movements frequently
Must be able to lift 50 pounds occasionally and often exert up to 20 pounds of force to push, pull, carry, lift or otherwise move objects
Must be able to bend, squat, crawl, kneel, push, pull, and walk on uneven surfaces on an occasional basis
While primarily an indoor job, must be able to walk outside in a variety of weather conditions (rain, wind, snow, heat)
Must be able to climb stairs both inside and outside and frequently lift 20 lbs. and occasionally up to 50 lbs.
