Description:

Our client is currently looking for a CAD drafter/designer to join their Solid Waste Team and sit in the Coconut Creek office. This person will provide AutoCAD Civil 3D support for new landfill design, landfill expansions, landfill redevelopment, and environmental remediation projects, both private and municipal. Work will include performing mark-ups and preparation of figures and drawing sets.

Duties:

Performs drafting, detailing, and graphics layout with limited supervision.

Prepare construction documents using AutoCAD Civil 3D

Apply and follow appropriate CAD standards and best practices

Perform volume calculations using AutoCAD Civil 3D

Support all aspects of drafting or CADD under the supervision of the lead professional

Prepare site plan layout from existing maps or tracings, corrections to existing drawings, etc.

Prepare well boring logs from field notes

Qualifications

3 years of experience in drafting

Proficiency in AutoCAD Civil 3D required

2 years of civil and site grading experience required

Experience should include preparing plan views and profile views, cutting cross-sections, grading, and calculation of volumes.

Must be team-focused, independent and be able to complete tasks and projects from management.

Valid drivers license with a driving record in good standing required
