- Enforce corporate safety policies on the job site, providing key responsibility for safety compliance in the field.
- Implement proactive pre-task safety planning for all work activities.
- Supervise, coordinate, and sequence subcontractors through RNC HVAC and Plumbing.
- Monitor performance and coordinate work to maintain the productivity of trades, ensuring adequate manpower for work in place.
- In coordination with the office staff share project schedule and manage work in accordance with the schedule.
- Coordinate and track material deliveries.
- Develop site logistics plans for the entire project to maximize productivity.
- Demonstrate fiscal responsibility by enforcing contract requirements and limiting field changes.
- Assist with the development of work scopes and front-end documents.
- Communicate effectively with the Project Manager, Tenants, and Owners.
- Effective timely resolution of conflicts and disputes to minimize delays and claims.
- Work closely with builders PM to ensure timely responses to minimize project delays.
- Minimum 5 years of direct supervision of projects including trades.
- 2-year technical degree or equivalent combination of education/experience required.
- OSHA 10 hours required.
- Local experience and contractor knowledge.
- The ideal candidate must be willing to travel locally, within less than 45-minute radius of Raleigh.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills.
- Bi-lingual a plus
- Strong negotiation skills to resolve field issues with subcontractors, design team, and/or owner.
- Experience with Microsoft Office software, including Word, Outlook, and Excel.
- Load calculation and quoting are a plus.
- Eager to learn and be a part of a team
- We use Field Edge, Wrightsoft and OnCall air. We will teach the right candidate if unfamiliar with these HVAC industry software programs
