• Hours: 24hrs
• Shift: Night shift with weekend and holiday rotation; 11pm-7am
  • 12 hours of on call required per six week schedule
• Location: Family Centered Unit – Charlton Memorial Hospital – Fall River, MA

Staff are required to orient to Labor & Delivery, Mother/Baby (Post-Partum), and Level 2 Nursery.

Our Family Centered Unit is comprised of 3 clinical areas – Labor and Delivery (L&D), Mother-Baby Unit and Level 2 Nursery. We proudly earned our “Baby- Friendly” designation which is an organization that helps support breastfeeding mothers and their families. 
 
We are searching for a Registered Nurse to work in our Family Centered Units and perform a variety of duties involving coordinating total nursing care for patients, participating with patient and family teaching and providing leadership by working cooperatively with ancillary nursing and other patient team personnel in maintaining standards for professional nursing practice within an assigned patient care unit. Has knowledge and skills necessary to provide care, which is appropriate to the age group of patients regularly served. May assume Charge responsibility for assigned personnel and activities as required or directed.

Education and/or Experience Requirements:

• Graduate of an accredited School of Nursing or equivalent is required.
• Current RN Licensure in the Commonwealth of Massachusetts is required.
• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification is also required.
• Three (3) months experience is preferred.
• ACLS and NRP certifications.

***SIGN-ON DETAILS***

• $9,000 with a minimum 3 years of Labor&Delivery/FCU nursing experience.
• $7,200 with 1 years of Labor&Delivery/FCU nursing experience.
• $6,000 with less than 1 year of Labor&Delivery/FCU nursing experience OR 1 years of hospital RN experience.
• Must be a new hire OR a rehire termed greater than 1 year to be eligible
