Duties:- Collects and analyzes data pertinent to the healthcare consumer's health or situation.- Identifies expected outcomes and develops individualized plans to attain measurable outcomes.- Implements the identified plan, coordinates care delivery, and promotes health and a safe environment.- Delegates elements of care appropriately and evaluates progress toward goals and outcomes.- Practices in a culturally diverse and inclusive manner, effectively communicating in all areas of practice.- Collaborates with healthcare consumers and stakeholders, demonstrating leadership in the profession.- Seeks knowledge reflecting current nursing practice, integrating evidence and research findings into practice.- Contributes to quality nursing practice, evaluating one's own and others' nursing practice against professional standards.- Utilizes appropriate resources to provide evidence-based nursing services safely, effectively, and responsibly.- Practices ethically, promoting shared governance and facility decision-making activities.
Physical Requirements:- Requires walking, standing, sitting, lifting, reaching, stooping, bending, pushing, and pulling.- Must be able to lift and support the weight of 35 pounds.- Must have intact senses of sight, hearing, smell, and touch, along with finger dexterity and critical thinking skills.
Skills:- Current Basic Life Support for Healthcare Provider certification according to the American Heart Association.- Current RN license or temporary license as a Registered Nurse Petitioner required.- BSN preferred.
Education:- Graduate from an accredited School of Nursing; BSN preferred.
