We are looking for a Senior Machine Learning Scientist to join our team in developing cutting-edge vision-based robotic automation solutions.

The Senior Machine Learning Scientist will be responsible for developing novel machine learning algorithms that leverage the latest research in the field, with the goal of improving overall system performance and adding new capabilities to the product line. In addition, the candidate will perform model optimization, develop tools and techniques to evaluate overall model performance, and support development of a fully automated training pipeline.

Primary Responsibilities:

• Develop and optimize novel ML based algorithms, leveraging the latest research in the field, to improve system performance and add new capabilities to our product line
• Develop tools and techniques to evaluate model performance
• Support development of a fully automated training pipeline
• Help guide decisions about new research, system architecture, and productization

Requirements:

• BS / MS / PhD in Computer Science, Engineering, or equivalent
• 3 years of professional experience, deploying production ML models
• Experience applying a variety of ML models (e.g. CNN, transformers, GAN, etc.), ideally for perception / computer vision applications
• Strong programming experience in Python
• Understanding of software development best practices
• Experience with various machine learning frameworks such as PyTorch
• Experience working in a Linux development environment
• Excellent data processing and analysis skills
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills

Preferred:

• Experience with robotic applications (e.g. perception, manipulation, etc.)
• Experience with synthetic data generation
