Rock Valley Community Programs is Hiring a Food Service Worker-Full-Time Near Janesville, WI

Full-time Food Service Cook | $17.33/hr

The primary function of the Food Service Worker is to cook/prepare food for 100 residents and assist the Lead Food Service workers in areas related to the food services operations.

Some duties and essential functions include:

  • Cook meals in large quantities.
  • Assist staff to supervise residents while in dining room.
  • Assist with supervision of food prep workers.
  • Remain current on food services and health/sanitation licensing requirements
  • Assist with the daily cleaning schedule of all cooking/cleaning staff assigned to kitchen, storage and dining room areas including sweeping and/or mopping.
  • Assist the Food Service Supervisor in maintaining compliance with all food services licensing and fire safety inspection authorities.
  • Work in cooperation with RVCP staff assigned to plan special food services events, i.e. staff parties, luncheons, meetings, dinners, holiday events, etc.
  • Direct work in kitchen during your shift.
  • Assist with program foods on the units and keeping in compliance/cleanliness.

CBRF training's that are required for this position are paid by RVCP, Inc.
