Responsibilities
•Investigate potential personal injury claims and provide legal advice to prospective clients accordingly
•Interview clients, supporting witnesses, expert witnesses, insurance company adjusters, and medical providers to collect information
•Handle personal injury case files from start to finish
•Document and update the status of all case files in the case management system
•Manage a team of personal injury paralegals, legal assistants, case managers, litigation paralegals, and legal secretary
Qualifications
•A minimum of 3 years of successful personal injury pre-litigation and litigation experience
•A bachelor's degree and a J.D. degree is required
•Excellent negotiation, drafting, research, and communication skills are desired
•Membership in the State Bar Association and a state license to practice law is mandatory
•Knowledge of personal injury law/ tort law, medical terminology, wrongful death, civil and family law, and medical malpractice is vital
•Must be computer proficient
