North Allegheny School District, a large suburban district in the Pittsburgh region with over 8,500 students and 1,200 employees, has a vacancy for a Senior Public Relations and Communications Specialist. The Senior Public Relations and Communications Specialist oversees internal and external messages and dissemination of information to the public through various means of communication (email, website, social media, press releases, etc.) and produces District wide publications and content to inculde photographs of Distict events and award ceremonies.
Minimum RequirementsA Bachelor’s Degree (BA, BS) or equivalent.
Five years of progressive experience in Communications, Public Relations, or related fields.
Appointment effective TBD. Full benefit package available. Salary Range starting at $60,000, commensurate with experience.
