A FedEx Utility Worker's role is to work at the FedEx yard at the airport performing a variety of duties based on business needs as dictated by the FedEx contract.

Responsibilities may include one or more of the following, but will not be limited to:

* Escorting FedEx Vendors and Employees throughout the airport Hub.

* Miscellaneous janitorial work.

* Checking and changing oil on FedEx vehicles

* Rebuilding dolly wheels.

* Communicating effectively and professionally with both FedEx associates and TSA Agents while performing needed job duties.

Requirements:

* High School Diploma preferred?(Associates degree in related field is desired).

* 3 months of similar experience required.

* Must be willing to follow all safety procedures and work in a safe manner.

* Must be able to work in a results-oriented, fast-paced environment as part of a team.

* Must be a self-starter and willing to take the initiative, able and willing to work without direct supervision, and be willing to attend appropriate training sessions.

* Must possess a mechanical aptitude.

* Must possess good oral and communication ability.

* Works is completed in a TSA governed area which requires finger printing and a Federal back ground check.
