Job Description
Skillforce Inc. is hiring for a Sheet Metal Installer in Goochland, VA. The ideal candidate has 2 years experience in sheet metal fabrication and installation. Pay is $20 - $24 per hour based on experience, skillset and location.
Sheet Metal Mechanic Description:
- Fabricate and install sheet metal products such as ductwork, gutters, and roofs
- Read and interpret blueprints, drawings, and specifications to determine job requirements
- Measure, cut, bend, shape, and fasten pieces of sheet metal to create functional structures
- Inspect and test installed systems for proper functionality
- Collaborate with other construction professionals to ensure project completion within specifications
Sheet Metal Mechanic Qualifications:
- 2 years experience in commercial or residential setting and/or equivalent combination of vocational training and experience
- Able to read blueprints
- Must be able to climb, reach above shoulder height, stoop, kneel, crouch or crawl frequently
- Ability to lift and carry 50lbs
- Your OWN reliable transportation
Job Type: Full-time
Salary: $20 - $24 per hour
