Payroll preparation, processing and reconciliation within a multi-national (US/Canada) payroll base.

IN THIS ROLE YOU WILL:

• Produces timely and accurate payroll- includes all interface and payroll processing activities.

• Answers payroll support box inquiries including PTO concerns, Garnishment management, and timecard updates.
• Collaborates with HR Service Team in resolving payroll discrepancies.
• Tier 2 phone support for Associate payroll inquiries.

• Ensures retro benefit deductions reflect correctly on payroll previews.
• Captures 3rd party apparel deductions and coordinates invoice approval with accounts payable.
• Completes payroll data and wage statement requests needed for Workers Compensation claims.

• Compile data from multiple payroll sources.
• Ensure worksite reporting requests are handled timely.
• Prepares relevant weekly, monthly, quarterly and year-end reports.
• Maintains accurate account balances.
• Ensures all payroll information and records are maintained in accordance with statutory requirements.

• Reconciles payroll discrepancies with accounting.

• Ensures compliance with statutory reporting and filing requirements.
• Collaborate with other payroll team members on key projects.
• Supports all internal and external audits related to payroll.

• Contribute to team effort by accomplishing related duties as needed or assigned.

• 2 - 5 years of experience supporting a multi-state payroll
• Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience
• Fundamental Payroll Certification designation preferred
• Proficiency with ADP preferred
• Intermediate Excel experience
• Intermediate Excel experience
• Experience with W2-C and tax amendment corrections
• Knowledge of accounting principles and practices
• Knowledge of applicable local, state and federal rules and laws
