We are seeking a Chiller Controls Manufacturing Engineer who can sit hybrid in either of these locations:WI 54601, CO 81001, or MI 49512 and can provide full relocation package if needed.

The Advanced Manufacturing Engineering Process Engineer - Controls is responsible for designing and developing manufacturing processes and systems to exceed quality, cost, and schedule requirements across all business functions. This role involves creating and defining concepts and processes for new products and product enhancement programs, as well as coordinating and integrating specialized processes and techniques into a lean manufacturing environment.

Core Job Responsibilities/Skills Include (But Are Not Limited To):

• Design, document, implement, and execute manufacturing process systems using automation controls, sensors, and database connectivity, focusing on processes that test, validate, or finalize products before shipment to customers.
• Collaborate with vendors and equipment manufacturers to validate, run off, and install process systems, including semi and fully automated systems, product functionality testers, product performance testers, product pressure testing, and controls verification.
• Conduct process qualification activities to ensure delivered processes meet required specifications, create necessary documentation for new processes, and provide or support training for production associates.
• Manage, develop, and improve manufacturing standards for controls, testing, and equipment.
• Lead projects and develop processes for the manufacture of HVAC chillers.
• Evaluate and implement innovative, cost-effective, and safe manufacturing processes and techniques to enhance the effectiveness of manufacturing operations and business systems.
• Develop manufacturing plans, initial tooling requirements, costs, capability requirements, control plans, and assessments to define and specify manufacturing processes.
• Provide technical expertise and leadership for resolving manufacturing process and product design problems promptly.
• Develop and implement manufacturing flows, workstation layouts, organization, and station controls to optimize value-added operations, operating costs, and product/process quality.
• Integrate closely with various functional team members to enhance design for manufacturability and ease of integration into the manufacturing facility

Must Have Skills:

• Bachelor s Degree required (Engineering discipline) and minimum 10 years of relevant manufacturing work experience required.
• Previous experience with automation equipment, sensors, and tooling
• Proven experience required in PLC, DCS, SCADA, HMI, etc. programming and/or implementation.
• Knowledge of Chiller products manufacturing processes.
