Referral Coordinator, Direct Access
GENERAL SUMMARY/BASIC PURPOSE OF JOB: The Direct Access Referral Coordinator provides support services to the patient, GI provider and participating outside FQHC (Federally Qualified Healthcare Centers) partners in order to ensure a smooth flow of patients through the GI clinic and endoscopy department. Duties include referral processing, patient registration, verification of benefits, insurance authorizations, patient appointment scheduling (clinic and procedural) program communication to potential candidates, communication with referral sources and other tasks assigned.
