Job Summary
The Senior Director of FP&A will serve as a key member of the financial leadership team reporting directly to the Chief Financial Officer. The Finance team plays a key role in partnering with the business and, through a combination of recurring and ad hoc reporting, informing leadership of actual and projected performance, as well as analyzing emerging business trends, changes, and new initiatives in a collaborative, fast-paced environment. You will be empowered to (and expected to) drive improvements in our business. We are seeking a seasoned finance leader with strong leadership skills, an entrepreneurial spirit, and a proven ability to collaborate with business partners across our organization.
What You'll Do
  • Lead the FP&A team - partnering closely with key stakeholders across the business to budget, forecast, and manage the business.
  • Collaborate with key counterparts from marketing and merchandising to develop revenue and margin targets.
  • Lead the annual budget process, track, and report on performance relative to plan, and manage ongoing rolling forecast updates.
  • Own the rolling cash flow forecasts to ensure proper management and oversight of liquidity.
  • Work closely with business partners to facilitate understanding of financial statements and budget adherence with thoughtful and transparent analysis and partnership.
  • Drive strategic financial planning, develop long range plans, and evaluate strategic initiatives in partnership with operating leads across the business.
  • Partner with CFO to formulate external guidance recommendations for the street to ensure the business is being managed in a disciplined way.
  • Build and iterate on complex financial models covering all aspects of Lulu's operations that will enable effective decision-making regarding the company's revenue growth, cost structure, and capital expenditures.
  • Maintain and enhance the efficiency of internal financial reporting processes, serving as a thought leader to upgrade reporting standards through the pursuit of continuous process improvement.
  • Establish, track, and monitor key operating metrics to drive the business to greater efficiency.
  • Create ad-hoc analyses to drive business strategy, improve efficiency, and maximize ROI.
  • Help drive finance discipline, fact-based decision-making, and financial visibility.
  • Collaborate with operating teams and provide recommendations that support revenue growth targets and improve profitability, operating efficiency, and effectiveness.
  • Preparation of presentations for monthly and quarterly Board of Director meetings.
What You'll Need
  • Bachelor's Degree required in Finance or related field.
  • 10 years of experience with a significant amount of FP&A experience in an e-commerce business (required) and a combination of experiences in other corporate finance environments, investment banking, or consulting.
  • Demonstrated knowledge in financial modeling for an e-commerce business.
  • Understanding of accounting and finance principles.
  • Strong written and oral communication skills to a variety of audiences, including executive management and Board level.
  • Strong business partnering and interpersonal skills.
  • Organized, flexible, and easily adaptable to changing conditions.
  • Ability to work well in high-pressure situations to meet deadlines.
  • High degree of proficiency with Excel and PowerPoint.
  • Strong project management skills.
  • Ability to multi-task and manage numerous simultaneous priorities.
  • High energy, high ownership of work product, and dedication and commitment to driving results.

This position does not offer remote work. It is a hybrid role, requiring candidates to be open to working three days in the office: Tuesday through Thursday.
