MARKETING COORDINATOR - GENERAL SUMMARY  

The Marketing Coordinator will be part of the Marketing team to support all marketing functions, including but not limited to assisting with developing and implementing marketing strategies and activities. The marketing coordinator acts as a thought partner as well as administrative support for the marketing department.

MARKETING COORDINATOR - ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

1.1 Activity: Assist in the planning, execution, and tracking of marketing campaigns.

1.2 Activity: Coordinate the production of marketing materials, including digital and print collateral.

1.3 Activity: Ensure brand consistency on all communication materials.

2.1 Activity: Manage social media platforms and contribute to content creation.

2.2 Activity: Develop and manage content on Spot Rewards, including being email contact.

2.3 Activity: Develop and execute email marketing campaigns.

3.1 Activity: Coordinate logistics for events, trade shows and conferences. 

3.2 Activity: Assist in development of event materials and promotional items.

3.3 Activity: Attend and participate in marketing events if necessary.

4.1 Activity: Conduct market research to identify trends and potential opportunities. 

4.2 Activity: Analyze and report on marketing metrics to measure campaign effectiveness and redirect efforts if necessary. 

5.1 Activity: Provide administrative support for the marketing department, including scheduling and maintaining databases. 

MARKETING COORDINATOR - EDUCATION AND/OR EXPERIENCE 

• College degree preferred or currently enrolled in a bachelor or associates degree program in Marketing, Business, communications or a related field.
• Previous experience in a marketing coordinator role is preferred. 
• Or a combination of experience and education
• Knowledge of marketing principles and practices.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Proficiency in digital marketing tools and platforms preferred.

MARKETING COORDINATOR - SKILLS

• Digital Marketing Skills (social media management, email marketing) 
• Working knowledge of using Microsoft Outlook, Excel, Teams, Sharepoint
• Content creation and copywriting
• Data Analysis and Reporting
• Strong Communication and Interpersonal Skills
• Ability to multitask and use sound judgement.
• Ability and skills to problem solve.

MARKETING COORDINATOR - PHYSICAL DEMANDS

• Significant portion of work day in an office environment/sedentary position. This includes long periods of sitting, working at a desk or in meetings. Extended screen time. 
• May need to conduct meetings and presentations. This involves sitting, standing, walking, and engaging in face-to-face interactions. 
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
