Silver Springs Care Center is looking for a 16 hour Central Supply Clerk with CNA certification.

The primary role of this position is to maintain, order, stock and control distribution of nursing supplies for nursing department.

Additional Responsibilities:

•Demonstrate the knowledge and skills necessary to carry out and perform assigned duties in the nursing department, and completes on-going competency requirements as required

•Must perform all assigned tasks in accordance with the Facility’s established policies and procedures and as instructed by the DNS, and/ or Administrator or as directed by supervisory staff.

•Complies with local, state and federal regulations relating to responsibilities of record maintenance and supply management. This includes the Code of Conduct, Resident Rights and Corporate Compliance; also serves as a mandatory reporter of all resident related incidents

Qualifications:

•Must possess an active CT CNA Certification.

•Prefer working knowledge (experience preferred) with various software programs such as WORD, EXCEL, as well as electronic medical records (EMR) systems.

•Must be able to speak, read and write the English language clearly and understandably.

•Must be able to follow written and oral instructions.
