Staff Education Coordinator Roles And Responsibilities
- Under the direction of the Director of Staff Education orients and educates the nursing staff by providing new hire nursing orientation and resuscitation courses through the American Heart Association.
- Represents administration in the overall management of the hospital, in the absence of nursing administration and managers.
- Participates as a member of the Nursing Management team.
- Provides supervision to clinical staff in the provision of patient care.
- Required Skills & Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent required.
- B.S. in Nursing required; M.S. in Nursing or related field required or in process.
- Must be licensed to practice professional nursing in the Commonwealth of Massachusetts.
- Five years of clinical experience.
- Demonstrated ability in leadership skills, clinical skills, communication skills and professional creativity.
- Experience in teaching/mentoring required.
