WHAT WE NEED:

Control Systems & Automation Engineer/Specialist

The position of Control Systems & Automation Engineer/Specialist - will be responsible for assisting in the design, installation, programming, and maintenance of Control Systems along with related industrial automation equipment.

Responsibilities:

• This position requires the individual to install, commission, and maintain distributed control systems and other automation equipment.
• Design and analyze project requirements for installation, commissioning, and inspecting systems hardware and software, troubleshooting, resolving problems, and managing project needs.
• Focus on design, configuration/programming, installation, maintenance, testing, startup, upgrading, and troubleshooting.
• Working with various DCS & PLC Systems, in addition to related industrial process instrumentation.
• Conduct site visits as required to determine the full scope of a project.
• Ensure quality work is produced that follows industry standards, codes, and client specifications.
• Assist in the development of internal processes, procedures, and workflows.
• Communicate all project or team issues to the Department Manager.

WHO WE NEED:

• BS Degree in Engineering or Technology Field (Significant experience can replace degree requirement)
• Knowledge of and familiarity with the National Electric Code (NEC) and international standards.
• Experience in programming, commissioning, and startup of any of the following control system platforms such as Siemens (S7 & PCS7), Modicon, TDC-3000, Experion PKS, Yokogawa, and DeltaV are preferred.
• Ability to work in a small team, Self-motivated, and solutions oriented.
• Willing to pursue opportunities for growth and development of the department.
• Excellent problem-solving, communication, and time management.
• Excellent computer and networking skills along with basic industrial instrumentation knowledge.
