What You Will Do:

NLU is combining high tech with high-touch to deliver a responsive message to prospective students and active applicants and we are looking for a high performing MarTech manger to join the NLU marketing team. As Sr. Manager, MarTech Performance, you will manage and optimize the Marketing Technology stack for NLU. Your stack manages multimillion dollar spend and delivers Campaign management, Marketing automation, customer acquisition, SEO, organic & paid digital impressions along with consumer insights having the privacy needed for Higher Education. You'll work to understand what data we need to drive KPIs across Acquisition, Activation, Engagement and Retention. You'll meet those needs by building or extending MarTech capabilities with the help of product, engineering, data engineering and data science teams

Essential Responsibilities

    Rationalize and maintain our MarTech integration of Salesforce, Mogli SMS, Pardot Account Engagement and Mainstay Chatbot
  • Execute and drive campaigns that align with our consumer lifecycle contact strategies while owning the associated email planning, design, coding, testing, reporting, analysis, and database management responsibilities
  • Build, initiate and review reports in Power BI Analytics, email platform, and other systems as assigned to determine success for each campaign
  • Compile and interpret data to allow for real-time marketing responsiveness and agility and own monthly marketing reporting deck and analysis with take a ways and recommended action items
  • Partner with other internal departments to obtain additional data and context not provided through existing tools; analyze results and make business recommendations based on results
  • Initiate email test scenarios and identify criteria to determine under which circumstances such testing should take place; create and maintain test/benchmark database
  • Assess ROI and scalability of local and national email marketing campaigns; make recommendations based on results
  • Serve as the strategic business partner and primary POC for the business to ensure we leverage system capabilities

Qualifications

  • Bachelor degree, highly preferred. May be willing to accept Associate or other degree depending on level of experience and expertise in the field (significant work experience in Marketing Technology required for those applying without a bachelor's degree)
  • Minimum of 3 years of experience in Salesforce and Pardo as well as experience with SMS, Telephonic and ChatBot configurations and management
  • Minimum of 1 year of experience in marketing data integration and analysis
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office and Google tools (i.e. Excel, Word, Sheets, etc.)
  • Proven delivery of solutions for MarTech Stack including components for content management/delivery, web analytics, search engine, digital asset management, digital events and social media integration.
  • Strong understanding of marketing technologies, data management, and integration principles including Google Ad Manager, Salesforce, Hubspot, Tradedesk, and other leading martech SaaS solutions.
  • Relationship Building and Networking: Developing and managing relationships with external suppliers and partners, including negotiating contracts, monitoring performance, and ensuring timely delivery of services and solutions.
  • Time Management: Prioritizes tasks and manages time to ensure that deadlines are met. Plans his or her time and sticks to those plans. Prevents or manages interruptions until the highest priority tasks are accomplished.
  • Communication/Interpersonal: Communicates effectively and appropriately. Uses good judgment as to what to communicate to whom as well as the best way to get that accomplished. Speaks in a clear and credible manner, selecting the right tone for the situation and audience. Listens to others and allows them to make their point.
  • Flexibility: Adjusts quickly and effectively to changing conditions and demands. Discusses change as a necessary and inevitable aspect of organizational life as well as an opportunity to learn new things. Has a similar view and approach to potentially stressful situations. Invests personal energy toward accepting and adapting to change that others use toward resisting or resenting it.
