Shriners Children's is the premier pediatric burn, orthopaedic, spinal cord injury, cleft lip and palate, and pediatric subspecialties medical center. We have an opportunity for a Rehab Manager in our Spokane, WA facility.
The manager of Rehab provides guidance, monitoring, oversite, supervision and facilitation to staff in support of the established decision, strategy, initiatives and direction for providing care while meeting regulatory and compliance requirements of the department.
The Manager of Rehab is reponsible for projects as assigned by the Director, which may include activities in the following areas, Physical Therapy, Occupational Therapy, Speech Language Pathology, Motion Analysis, Child Life, Research, Clinic, Inpatient Rehabilition Unit, or Prosthetics and Orthotics LLC.
Provides direct clinical patient care for discipline of origin and serves as a role model and resource for staff within the department. Acts as a department resource for the department as related to clinical standards and practice.
In cooperation with our local leaders, offers exceptional care following the Shriners Children's FOCUSED Program, a system-wide model for professional practice that stresses and emphasizes patient-centered care or always putting the needs of the patients (and their families) first. This position reports to the Director of Patient Care Services. Clinical work is expected in this position.

Education/Licensure
Bachelor in Rehabilitative related field required
Master's in Rehabilitative related field preferred
Meets the educational requirements for WA state licensure (PT, OT, SLP) required
Professional Association sctive membership required
Clinical certification required
Basic Life Support (BLS) required
Cardiopulmonary Resuscitation (CPR) required
Experience
5 years of management/supervisory experience in physical therapy/occupational therapy/speech pathology required
3 years of pediatric experience preferred
Clinical specialization preferred
Previous pediatric experience in development disorders and/or Inpatient Rehab preferred
Other
COVID-19 Vaccination required.
