What We Do:

  • Provide dog walking, hiking, pet sitting, cat care, and overnight care services to clients in our service area.
  • Ensure the safety, love, and reliable care of the pets we serve, giving peace of mind to their owners.

Job Requirements:

  • Must reside within our service area.
  • Own a reliable, registered, and fully insured dog-safe vehicle with a valid Driver's License.
  • Possess a smartphone with photo/video/GPS capability and be able to multitask on cellphones.
  • Be available for consistent shifts year-round.
  • Must adore animals; formal experience not required but highly encouraged.
  • Be comfortable caring for both cats and dogs. Experience with other species is highly appreciated (rabbits, hedgehogs, fish, chinchillas, ferrets, etc)
  • Pass a background check.
  • Be able to maintain a brisk walking pace for up to 6 hours (non-consecutive) per day in any type of weather (rain, snow, heat)
  • Be able to squat down and bend over multiple times per hour (putting on dog harness, picking up poop).
  • Be able to lift up to 50 pounds and comfortable handling dogs over 50 pounds.
  • Be able to hold dogs on leash, walk steady on your feet, and pick up dog poop at the same time, with good balance and coordination.

Schedules Available (please indicate your availability in your application)

  • Part-Time Midday Dog Walker/Dog Hiker/Pet Sitter: 5 days a week, Monday to Friday, from 8AM-11AM or 11AM-1PM, 1PM-4PM. Or any 2-3 hour timeframes that are between all these hours.
  • Full-Time Daytime Dog Walker/Dog Hiker/Pet Sitter: Mon-Fri 8AM-3PM
  • Weekday Evening Dog Walker/Pet Sitter: Mon-Fri 4PM-6PM
  • Early Riser Dog Walker/Dog Hiker/Pet Sitter: 6AM-8AM
  • Travel Care Pet Sitter: Non-recurring evening and weekend appointments for traveling clients.
  • Overnight Pet Sitter: Requires you to sleep at clients homes 10PM-8AM. If you are able to perform daytime services for the same home, even better. Overnights Pay $15.69/hr for the Overnight Shift.
  • Weekend Dog Walker/Dog Hiker/Pet Sitter: anytime you want to work, we just ask that you are consistent so we book services accordingly.

Back Up Positions Schedules Available:

  • Back Up Dog Walker: You have no minimum work hour requirements and you will work ad-hoc/when needed without committing to a weekly ongoing schedule. Hiring back ups for all shifts.
