LHH is partnering with a global publicly traded services company in Chicago, IL on a Senior Financial Analyst opportunity. This is a newly created position open due to growth, and I will be supporting the Senior Manager of FP&A with financial analysis, capital planning management, operational initiatives, and ad-hoc reporting/projects.

This is a highly visible role and will interact with senior leadership and offer a defined path to the manager. This is a great opportunity for individuals coming out of public accounting looking to make a pivot into FP&A.

This is a hybrid position that requires candidates to be onsite 3 days/week.

RESPONSIBILITIES:

P&L Management:

• Monthly/Quarterly Reporting
• Budget vs. Actual analysis
• Long-range planning
• Forecasting
• Financial Analysis- trend analysis, QoQ, YoY, etc.

Capital Management:

• CAPEX Analysis
• Spend Analysis
• Financial Analysis/Ad-hoc reporting

Operational Initiatives :

• Building financial models
• Identify cost-saving initiatives
• Assist in special projects

REQUIREMENTS

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or Finance is required; CPA preferred
• 1-4 years of experience, preferably in public accounting, FP&A or analytics
• Advanced Excel and financial modeling skills required
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills
• Willingness and hungry to learn
• Strong critical thinking and attention to details skills
