Job Opportunity

The Furniture Store is seeking a full-time delivery driver/warehouse associate to work for them. This position is responsible for the safe handling and delivery of furniture, tracking inventory, loading and unloading deliveries, and all other warehouse associate tasks.

Brief job description

This position will be responsible for loading and unloading all merchandise as well as the safe transport and set up of the furniture. When we are not delivering this position will also be responsible for furniture assembly and showroom floor upkeep as well as any other tasks that are requested.

Job hours

This is a full time position with a 40-plus hour work week, this position is for a Tuesday-Saturday role. The hours are Tuesday-Friday 8:30-6 and Saturday 8:30-5.

Saturdays are required.

Hourly pay: $14-17 an hour

Job Responsibilities

• Load and secure product in your assigned delivery vehicle and safely transport furniture to the customers home.
• Ensure product information matches for deliver and returns.
• Ensure all merchandise is in good condition prior to delivery.
• Unload and demonstrate merchandise with customer
• Assist in maintaining the showroom floor and warehouse.
• Perform weekly inspection of assigned delivery vehicle.
• Collect money and obtain customers signatures on lease agreements and sales contract.
• Perform routine service calls and assist with merchandise returns
• Subject to background check.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $14.00 - $17.00 per hour

Expected hours: 38 – 42 per week
