What can you expect?
You will be responsible for the overall supervision and direction of Sheppard Pratt School in Frederick .
Specific responsibilities include:

• Facilitating operations and strategies for working closely with the Maryland State Department of Education (MSDE) Non Public School Approval Branch, referring schools and agencies, and clinical staff.
• Supervising, supporting, and evaluating all teaching staff.
• Coordinating curriculum development and extracurricular activities for students.
• Coordinating standards and expectations for behavioral management.

What we need from you

• Master's degree in special education.
• Must be one of the following:
  
  • An MSDE certified Supervisor of Special Education (preferred).
  • An MSDE certified professional teacher in special education.
• 3 years of teaching experience, including experience in a special education setting.
• Must have reliable transportation to travel to other Sheppard Pratt School locations and to the Towson campus for school leadership meetings.
