TeamHealth is Hiring a Nurse Practitioner, Shelton, WA Near Shelton, WA

We are looking for an experienced Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant to join our team in Shelton, WA. The ideal candidate will have a background in primary care and geriatrics and will be able to provide comprehensive care to adult patients, primarily geriatric patients. This is a four-day a week position with the flexibility to choose your work days (between Monday-Friday) and daily schedule. The Nurse Practitioner/Physician Assistant will be responsible for conducting physical exams, diagnosing illnesses, ordering tests, and prescribing medications in a skilled nursing facility environment. The successful candidate must also possess excellent communication skills and the ability to work collaboratively with other healthcare professionals.

Responsibilities:

  • Provide primary care services to adult patients, primarily geriatrics.
  • Perform physical examinations, assessments of patients and develop treatment plans.
  • Prescribe medications and treatments as needed.
  • Provide patient education and counseling.
  • Coordinate care with other healthcare providers.
  • Maintain accurate medical records.

Job Types: Full-time, Permanent

Pay: $93,000.00 - $114,000.00 per year
