Sewickley Academy is seeking to hire an Assistant Girls’ Soccer Coach for the varsity program. The part-time assistant is responsible for supporting the head coach while providing leadership and guidance to student-athletes.

Responsibilities:

• Assist the Head Coach with all aspects of a successful Varsity Level Program including but not limited to:
  • The planning and execution of individual and team practices.
  • The development and implementation of competitive game strategies.
  • Collaboration with the sports performance staff to enhance the physical capabilities of all student-athletes.
• Develop and maintain positive relationships with players, parents, and school staff.
• Monitor and evaluate player performance and progress.
• Ensure compliance with all school and league rules and regulations.
• Promote a positive and safe environment for all players.

Requirements:

• Bachelor’s degree
• Competitive soccer background
• Knowledge of appropriate safety measures to ensure the well-being of student-athletes
• Excellent interpersonal, communication, time management, and organizational skills
• Ability to attend all team activities.
