Position Title: Food Service Associate
Reports to: Dean of Operations, Director of Nutrition Program
Location: St. Thomas Aquinas Academy 341 Norwich St., Milwaukee
Employment Classification: 10-month hourly employee, 3 hours per day (10: 00AM - 1:00 PM), $15 per hour.

Position Description:
The Food Service staff will receive directives from the Dean of Operations and Director of Nutrition Program, and includes, but is not limited to the following responsibilities:

• Serve students and ensure plates meet the requirements of a compliant meal.
• Assist students with healthy choices at mealtime.
• Responsible for accurate point of sale records of student meals.
• Assist in cleaning dishes, kitchen, food preparation equipment and utensils.
• Maintain kitchen work areas, equipment, and utensils in a clean orderly condition.
• Abide by all city and county health department regulations.
• Prepare for lunch meal service
• Assist in storing and stocking all supplies on shelves, coolers, and freezers.
• Other duties as assigned.

Qualifications and Skills:

• Deep belief in all children and the mission of Seton Catholic Schools.
• High school diploma or equivalency required.
• Bilingual English/Spanish preferred
• Ability to move, lift, and transfer objects weighing up to thirty (50) pounds.
• Ability to stand for extended periods of time.
• Able to collaborate and work in a team atmosphere.
• Able to go between campuses if needed
