Required Skills and Experience:

- BS degree in civil engineering or related field from an accredited college or university.

- 10 years of accumulative experience in civil engineering (or related discipline), design and construction management.

- 5 years of experience in a high level engineering management position.

- Broad experience in design & implementation of projects that involve: site design, grading, roadways, drainage, hydrology, SWPPP, SUSMP, DAMP, LID, water quality, utilities, habitat, environmental, survey, soils investigation, structural, file maps and legal descriptions.

- Experience working with planning and building departments, ACOE, CDFW and other governmental agencies.

- Excellent knowledge of design and visualization software such as AutoCAD, Revit, Civil 3D or similar.

- Experience working with contractors and subcontractors required.

- Registered Civil Engineer in the State of California

- Qualified SWPPP Developer Certification in State of California

The ideal candidate for this role is someone who can effectively engage and communicate with outside regulatory agencies, ensuring the organization meets regulatory requirements as well as remaining abreast of laws and guidelines, and being responsible for the oversight of project management, planning, and design of civil engineering projects.
