ServeMinnesota Overview

ServeMinnesota works with AmeriCorps members and community partners to meet critical needs throughout Minnesota. We focus on solving tough problems in educational achievement, economic opportunity, environmental protection, substance use recovery and police-community relationships. We administer 17 AmeriCorps programs with nearly 2,000 AmeriCorps members addressing critical human needs across the state. Programs include: AmeriCorps LEAP Initiative City of Lakes AmeriCorps College Possible Community Technology Empowerment Program Community Forestry Corps Conservation Corps Minnesota Alliance wi...th Youth Promise Fellows MN Green Corps MN Opioid Response Corps MN Opportunity Corps MN Reading Corps Total Learning Classroom True North AmeriCorps Twin Cities Habitat for Humanity Recovery Corps Law Enforcement Career Path Academy More than 1,000 sites across the state host AmeriCorps members from these programs. These sites include schools, local nonprofits, and community organizations. ServeMinnesota's primary goal is to invest its AmeriCorps resources in a manner that catalyzes positive social change in Minnesota. We align the power of AmeriCorps with successful strategies that provide cost-effective solutions and yield measurable results.
