Job Description
We are seeking a Qualified Mental Health Professional for adult and children to provide Mental health Services to clients in the Greater Richmond Area.
Qualified Mental Health Professional (QMHP) Responsibilities and Duties
- Establish open lines of communication for individuals with mental or emotional issues
- Offer assistance to individuals with substance abuse issues
- Provide prevention-oriented therapy
- Implement and review treatment plans
- Collaborate with additional treatment providers and placement agencies
- Ensure all documentation is completed in a timely manner
Qualified Mental Health Professional (QMHP) Qualifications and Skills
- QMHP Designation by VA Board of Counseling.
- Bachelor's Degree in a Human Service related field.
- At least 1 year experience working with Adults who have a mental health diagnosis.
- Must have own reliable transportation
- Active auto insurance
- Valid driver's license
- Excellent written and verbal communications skills
- Ability to build rapport with clients
- Strong leadership qualities
