In this role, the SharePoint Project Manager will help lead a team responsible for in-house development of SharePoint Migration

Responsibilities:

• Promote effective communication and strong collaboration among teams and facilitate any arising conflict resolution
• Identify business drivers, stakeholders, and project ideas that are easily definable into formal project plans
• Lead Agile scrum calls with the development team and assist in sprint planning activities, inclusive of reporting around sprint and milestone/release health
• Host periodic status and steering committee calls
• Capture and track risks, issues, decisions, and action items as needed
• Define initial scope and monitor it throughout the project lifecycle, using change control process to handle any scope changes
• Prepare Executive level status reports and proposals as requested by various stakeholder groups
• Communicate project updates succinctly and clearly, tailored to the target audience
• Work with cross-functional teams within the organization, including, but not limited to Information Security, Operations, and Infrastructure to ensure alignment and support of project initiatives
• Ensure adherence to internal processes and policies of various groups, including IT Change Management, Compliance, Legal, Third-Party Product/Service Procurements, and other stakeholders as needed
• Assess project transition and operational phase strategy, activities, processes, and artifacts
• Document lessons learned and provide guidance and support throughout the entire project lifecycle
• Partner with Product Owners to ensure project backlogs capture all requirements; ensure project requests are addressed as expected
• Lead development teams toward achievement of self-organization, efficiency, and top performance
• Inspire high performance culture that fosters success, productivity, and team member engagement

Basic Requirements:

• 8 years of experience as a Project Manager working with Software Development Teams
• 8 years of Scrum methodology, framework, and processes (e.g., definition of done, user stories, automated testing, backlog refinement) experience
• 5 years of experience with Microsoft 365
• 5 years of experience with JIRA
• 3 years of SharePoint Migration project experience (Microsoft/Office 365, SharePoint, Teams)

Preferred Requirements:

• PMP or Scrum Master Certification
• Financial industry experience
• Strong analytical skills, technical acumen, and conflict resolution skills
• Effective communication, interpersonal and mentoring skills
• Outstanding organizational and leadership abilities
• Proven adaptability to succeed in a changing environment
• Knowledge of the Software Development Lifecycle (SDLC)
