The Development & Operations Planning Engineer will serve as an integral member of the Asset Management team with responsibilities including, but not limited to, the following:

• Support Senecas Long-Term Planning efforts, including scenario analysis for different market strategies.
• Analyze operational data to identify potential schedule and resource improvements for development scenarios.
• Create and maintain a robust model to do scenario analysis to help optimize schedules.
• Work closely with the planning and operational teams to update model assumptions.
• Continuously refine, update, and distribute operational and financial metrics.
• Incorporate all major stakeholder feedback into the planning process to ensure executable schedules.
• Active engagement and support to various groups for purposes of IR releases, A&D activity, Marketing activity, etc.
• Comply with Senecas EHSQ policies, standards and procedures and demonstrate active and regular involvement in EHSQ programs.

• This position requires a Bachelor's Degree in Engineering; MBA is preferred.
• Minimum of seven (7) to ten (10) years total work experience with a minimum of three (3) years in a planning or finance function for an E&P.
• The successful candidate must possess strong verbal and written communication skills.
• The successful candidate must be able to establish positive relationships with individuals at all levels of the organization, handle multiple tasks and efficiently prioritize work to meet deadlines with minimal supervision.
• A high level of accuracy, attention to detail and excellent organizational and problem-solving skills are required.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications is required, advanced proficiency in Excel is required.
• Experience with Enersight, Actenum, or other planning software is preferred.
• Experience with MS Power BI, Spotfire, SQL, Python or R is desired.

The successful candidate will be willing to work flexible hours and travel when needed.
