intellectt is Hiring a Sr. Environmental Health and Safety Specialist Near Casa Grande, AZ
Location: Casa Grande, AZ - 85193
Duration: 8 Weeks (Starting from 13th May).
Shift Timings: 8 AM to 4 PM
- 100% Onsite role.
- candidates who want to relocate at their own expense. But this is just a single 8-week project in Casa Grande. Possibility of extension and work on different projects but not guaranteed at this moment.
- The project entails upgrading an existing roof using a liquid-applied membrane technology in Casa Grande, Arizona.
- It involves working at heights and managing heat stress over eight weeks.
- Strong Understanding of regulations - OSHA, ADOSH/AZ-OSHA, ANSI.
Strong commitment to safety protocols during construction projects.
- There are specific Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) requirements for this role. They include steel-toed shoes, high-visibility clothing, hard hat, safety glasses, and fall protection equipment when working at heights. If they have their equipment it is fine otherwise, the site will work with them and arrange it.
- Day-to-day Responsibilities: The main responsibility of the senior environmental health and safety specialist will be to monitor and ensure safe practices during the execution of the construction project. This includes overseeing working at heights and managing heat stress among other safety concerns.
- Bachelor's degree with a minimum of five years of relevant experience.
- Preferred certifications include ASP or GSP certifications and a Construction Health Safety Technician (CHST) certification.
- In-depth understanding of OSHA regulations and working at heights requirements.
- Effective communication with both leadership and frontline construction employees.
- A strong focus on safety when executing construction projects.
- Single round of interviews conducted via Teams
