We heard you knock! Responsibilities: Helps Plant Expeditor with the following: Communication with necessary personnel to help ship out past due orders and maintain open special order file current. Process Requests for Credits (RFC’s) the plant is responsible for. Enter Intercompany plant transfer orders. Maintains shipping documents (Proof of Delivery) files retained at plant level. This process to include review of discrepancies reported daily by carriers. File freight claims for outbound shipments. Publish daily backorders report when Plant Buyer is out. Helps Plant Schedulers with the following: Help match production tickets and labels daily by agreed upon times as needed. Help monitor inbound orders and ensure all are received and downloaded timely. After order download help execute assigned steps in Masterpack ERP system to ensure orders will flow accurately through the system and plant. Aid in order rescheduling process. Handle YOW (Internet) program orders that need to be redated. Shipping turns in YOW order backup daily that removed from load and cannot ship. Assistant Scheduler matches up back up with production ticket and/or placard from Purchasing to redate order accordingly. Once order is redated in system, new load date noted on backup, and it is filed in proper folder. Perform other scheduling tasks as needed when one of the plant schedulers is out. Assist with other administrative tasks as needed. Qualifications: High School Diploma 2-4 years in a customer service role and/or operations planning role in a manufacturing environment preferred.
