Samaritan Healthcare is looking to fill an On-Call Security role for our healthcare community. Security Officers are responsible for the security of Samaritan Healthcare locations and the safety of its patients, staff, employees, and visitors within its boundaries. This position is responsible for filing reports, conducting investigations, and assuring that all hospital safety and security policies are met by all concerned. The Security Officer must be on continuous patrol of grounds and buildings, and maintain a keen sense of awareness, at all times, to detect suspicious persons, malfunctioning equipment, safety or fire hazards, cluttered areas, or unauthorized vehicles. Three (3) years of civil law enforcement experience and/or law enforcement training preferred.

This is an On-Call, Variable Days/Shifts position.

High School or better in General Studies.

**Experience**

**Preferred**

Three (3) years of civil law enforcement experience preferred.

Previous industrial security and/or law enforcement training.

Basic Life Support Heartsaver (HS) level to be completed within three (3) months of hire.
