Job Title : Accounting Coordinator (Part-time 25-30 hours per week)
Primary Location : Renton, WA 
Position Reports to : Accounting Manager
Professional sports team seeks diligent and detail-oriented Part-Time Accounting Coordinator to join the team. The ideal candidate will have strong organizational skills, attention to detail and proficiency in Microsoft Excel.
POSITION SUMMARY
This position supports the Accounting and Finance team in maintaining financial records, processing transactions and performing various tasks for the department.

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS

• Support month-end and year-end close processes by preparing journal entries and routine accruals as necessary
• Maintain cash and bank reporting needs
• Reconcile bank and other balance sheet accounts on a monthly basis
• Review intercompany transactions and ensure balance between entities
• Assist in general accounts receivable billing and processing receipts
• Review credit card transaction coding for accuracy on a monthly basis
• Provide general team support and other ad-hoc reporting and projects
• Assist in transaction research and follow-ups as needed
• Uphold company core values of integrity, service and professionalism
• Other duties as assigned

EDUCATION AND SKILL REQUIREMENTS

• Associate degree in Accounting and familiar with basic accounting concepts
• Strong organizational, time management and communication skills
• Proficient in Microsoft applications, especially Microsoft Excel
• Experience in Microsoft Dynamics Great Plains or similar accounting system preferred

COMPENSATION AND BENEFITS

• The hourly rate for this position is: $30.00 - $35.00. The hourly rate applies to the current posting. The posted hourly rate range may vary based on key factors including, but not limited to, education, job-related knowledge, experience and skill set.
